Construction Management

October 6, 2009

Eighty percent of all new start construction companies fail financially or go out of business within the first two years of their operation. Out of the remaining 20%, only 2% remain after five years. These are startling statistics about our construction industry in this country today. There are many reasons and factors that contribute to this statistic but one of the primary causes is the lack of affordable construction management education and resources for these companies to tap into.  One of the other main factors is that most people starting out in the construction business have come up through the trades and are very good at their craft. They know how to get the job done butt don’t understand how to make the construction business work for them and not them for the business.
